Polydec SA develops its skills cluster by collaborating with Roger Maeder SA!

Monday, March 31, 2014

At the start of the year, Polydec SA acquired a majority interest in Roger Maeder SA, the micro turned parts manufacturer, based in Court (Switzerland). This has enabled Polydec SA to expand its product range to better meet the needs of its customers.

Polydec SA's machine inventory comprises CNC automatic turning machines with sliding headstocks and Escomatic turning machines, while Roger Maeder SA primarily uses cam-type machines and recently acquired CNC equipment.

These different production processes have come together to serve a common objective: to overcome the challenges of producing high-precision micro-parts.

This strategic choice will enable Polydec SA to enter markets that demand lighter organizational  structures, allowing the company to offer - in some cases - more competitive prices and shorter delivery times.

This partnership brings together the skills and assets of both companies in a shared commitment to better serve their customers.
