Solutions to serve you better!

Micro-bar turning and micro-technology are markets that are constantly developing. To meet the demands of the dynamic markets, Polydec SA implemented a unique strategic approach.

To address market demands and customer requirements, Polydec SA set up an office in Chicago, Polydec International Inc. directed by David Kouidri, and engaged a liaison Officer in Tokyo, Yuko Sakai, with the objective of better serving its customers in America and Asia.

Then, facing high market demand and the lack of capacity, Polydec SA initially purchased additional CNC turning machines in 2013. The following year, they purchased a majority share in the bar-turning company Roger Maeder SA, based in Court (Switzerland).

Polydec SA's machine inventory comprises CNC automatic turning machines with sliding headstocks and Escomatic turning machines, with Roger Maeder SA production taking place on cam-type sliding headstock machines.

Roger Maeder SA possesses its own production workshops and offices, and consequently is completely independent from Polydec SA. With its lighter structure, the small firm is able - in certain cases – to offer customers more competitive prices and shorter delivery times.

These strategic choices have enabled Polydec SA to diversify both technically and in terms of global coverage. Today, it owns two subsidiaries and employs nearly 70 staff in total.
