Our extensive expertise in the high precision bar turning of small workpieces, as well as the rigorous management of our production processes, has enabled us to develop our skills for the medical sector. The ISO 13485 certification is a guarantee of our ability to manage medical projects that meet the most detailed customer requirements and comply with current standards.

The medical industry requires suppliers with extensive qualifications, flawless traceability, as well as total confidence in their abilities. At Polydec, all our medical components undergo an initial validation phase. During production, the procedure is approved and rigorously respected at all stages.

Our skills

Below is a non-exhaustive list of the operations we are able to carry out for medical parts directly on the bar-turner:

  • milling
  • drilling
  • thread-whirling/tapping or threading

To achieve impeccable technical characteristics, turned parts undergo treatments and/or finishing operations such as:

  • tempering and hardening
  • polishing
  • sand-/micro-blasting
  • galvanic treatments: PVD

These treatments are carried out at our own premises, or externally by partners certified or approved by us.
